Traditional office accessories can disrupt the ever-valuable flow that completes work efficiently and effectively; from noisy mechanical keyboards to overenthusiastic mouse clicks.​ Having first-hand experience with this, I decided there has to be a better way to solve this before it becomes a true problem.

Here’s why all that noise actually matters: A 2021 Cambridge study found that noise in open-plan offices significantly increases stress and negatively affects employee productivity and mood​ (Cambridge University Press & Assessment). And studies as recently as 2021 have shown that 66% of employees report being significantly less productive in open-plan offices compared to individual workspaces due to noise distractions. Additionally, 69% of employees globally say that noise pollution negatively impacts their ability to concentrate and remain productive ​(UCL)​(Metrikus – Building Efficiency Platform).
